EU market entry for manufacturers

Your route into the European market

We bring products into the European Union, take the regulatory work on ourselves and sell them through channels that already run. We built our own brands here first. And when Europe works, the same containers go further, to the Middle East and Africa, where we have sold for a decade.

Our founder started in 1993 as a regional distributor for Unilever Poland in household chemicals and cosmetics, supplying wholesale across the country. Three decades later the same discipline runs through customs files, product registrations and retail negotiations.

Why us

We did this with our own products first

Twenty seven products carry our own brands. We designed them in Poland, manufactured them in Asia and sell them today across five European markets. Every certificate, every registration and every recall procedure sits with us.

That work taught us what a category manager asks on the first call, which paperwork stops a container, and which markets quietly lose money once compliance is paid for. We ran that calculation and walked away from four EU markets where the cost of registration exceeded the margin.

We start by checking whether your product can legally enter the European Union, and at what price it can sell once every cost is counted.
01

Regulatory ownership

We take the role of manufacturer under EU product safety law. We issue the Declaration of Conformity from your test reports, hold the technical file, and put CE marking, instructions and labelling in local languages.

02

Registrations

Packaging and electronics compliance in Germany, Italy, Spain and France. Waste register in Poland, GS1 numbering, cosmetics notification through CPNP with a certified safety assessor.

03

Import and customs

Customs clearance, REACH documentation, certificates of origin and consolidated container shipping. We already import raw materials into the Union from outside it, so this is daily work rather than a new service.

04

Distribution

Our own selling accounts on Amazon and on the leading marketplace in Poland, supply agreements with national pharmacy and electronics chains, and a distributor network across the Middle East and Africa. Your product enters channels that already turn over.

Compliance

The part that stops most manufacturers

A product that sells well at home can be illegal to place on the EU market. Somebody has to sign for it. Usually that somebody has to be established inside the Union, and that is the role we take.

Legal manufacturer

We sign the Declaration of Conformity and keep the technical file for ten years.

Technical file

Risk assessment, test reports, drawings and instructions, assembled and archived.

Producer registrations

Packaging and electronics schemes in Germany, Italy, Spain and France, waste register in Poland.

Barcodes and data

GS1 numbering, product data sheets and content prepared for each marketplace.

Cosmetics notification

Safety assessment and CPNP notification through a certified assessor where the product requires it.

Customs and REACH

Clearance, origin documents and chemical compliance for goods entering from outside the Union.

Sectors

What we handle

Our two strongest areas are consumer health devices and automotive. Everything else we assess case by case, because the route to market depends on who buys the product, not on what it is called.

Strongest

Health and personal care devices

Electronic devices for oral care, skin care and recovery. Our own portfolio sits here, including the certification and retail relationships that come with it.

Strongest

Automotive parts and accessories

Batteries, vehicle electrics, spare parts and workshop equipment. Three decades of trade in this category, in both directions.

Case by case

Consumer electronics and industrial goods

Small appliances, tools and industrial equipment. We assess the regulatory burden and the landed cost before we commit.

Markets

Where your product lands

Poland is the entry point. It sits inside the single market, labour and warehousing cost less than in the west, and from here a container reaches most of the Union within two days. Europe is where we start, not where we stop.

Entry point

Poland

Customs clearance, warehousing and the first commercial test. We sell here through our own accounts on the dominant local marketplace and through supply agreements with national pharmacy and electronics chains.

Scale

Western Europe

Germany, Italy, Spain and France, where the volume is. We already sell our own products in all four, with packaging and electronics registrations held in each of them.

Beyond Europe

Middle East and Africa

Thirty one buyers and distributors in sixteen countries, built over ten years of shipping automotive products into the region. A second route for products that prove themselves in Europe.

We also say where not to go. We calculated the cost of compliance against the margin and stayed out of four smaller European markets. You will get the same answer about yours if the numbers say so.

How we work

Three steps

1

Assessment

We check what the product needs to enter the Union legally, what that costs, and what it can sell for once duty, shipping and compliance are counted. You get a number, then you decide.

2

Compliance and launch

We complete the documentation, adapt packaging and labelling, register the product where registration is required, and place the first stock in our channels.

3

Distribution

Commission, an outsourced EU sales office, or we buy the goods and sell them on our own account. The scope goes into the contract at the start.

We start with a paid assessment. The scope and the fee are agreed after the first call, once we know the product and the target markets. You bring the technical knowledge and the product. We bring the market, the paperwork and the buyers.

Models

How we work together

The model depends on how much you want to hand over. Each one goes into a contract.

Commission

Sales agent

We represent your product, you invoice the buyer, we earn a commission on what sells. You keep the customer relationship on paper.

Retainer

Outsourced EU office

We run the whole entry: compliance, registrations, buyers, logistics and after sales. You get a European operation without opening a company here.

Buy and sell

Importer of record

We buy the goods from you and take them into the Union on our own account. Your sale is finished at the port of origin, and the market risk moves to us.

Exclusivity, territory, pricing policy and the rules for customers we bring in are agreed before the first shipment and written into the contract. Control over your brand stays with you.

Questions

Before you write to us

Who becomes the legal importer of my product?
It depends on the model. Under commission you stay the seller and appoint us as your representative. Under the buy and sell model we purchase the goods and become the importer of record, which means the customs debt, the product liability and the registrations move to us.
My product has certificates from my own country. Are they enough?
Usually they are a useful starting point rather than a substitute. What matters in the Union is whether the testing was done against European standards in an accredited laboratory. We review your reports first and tell you what is missing before you spend anything on new tests.
How long does entry take?
Assessment takes a few weeks. Compliance work depends on the category: a simple accessory can be ready in one to two months, an electronic device with cosmetic claims takes longer. Retail listings follow their own calendar, and chains review new suppliers a few times a year.
What does it cost?
We begin with a paid assessment whose scope and fee are set after the first call. After that we work on commission, on a monthly fee, or we buy the goods outright. Registration costs are separate and we quote them per market, because they differ.
Do you work with products outside health and automotive?
Yes, case by case. The question we ask is who buys the product and through which channel, because that decides whether our existing relationships are worth anything to you. When they are not, we say so.
Can you take my product beyond Europe as well?
Yes, and for some categories that is the better first step. We have sold automotive products into the Middle East and Africa for ten years and work with thirty one buyers and distributors in sixteen countries there. Certification for those markets differs from the European route, so we assess the two separately.
In which currency do we settle?
Euro or US dollar for purchases and commissions. Where we buy the goods outright we can also work with a letter of credit or documentary collection through our bank, which is how we settle most shipments outside the European Union.
Why Poland rather than Germany or the Netherlands?
Warehousing and handling cost less, the country sits inside the single market with no internal customs, and a container cleared here reaches most of the Union within two days. For a first commercial test it lowers the cost of finding out whether the product sells.
